Weldon is director of Hotels, Tourism & Leisure at Crowe Horwath HTL in Dublin and is part of the Corporate Finance Team. He is a sectoral advisor on new build projects & conversions, investment appraisal, refinancing, asset management, redevelopment and transactional support with extensive knowledge of IRL/UK/European hospitality markets.
Previously, Weldon was Head of Accommodation Development at Failte Ireland, the National Tourism Development Authority in the republic of Ireland with responsibility for accommodation development, capacity growth and national quality & standards. He has also worked with Colliers, banks and private investors across a wide range of projects and asset management assignments.
Weldon is a Chartered Surveyor (MRICS, MSCSI), a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, and a Certified Hotel Asset Manager (Cornell). He holds an MBA and MSc in Tourism from Technological University Dublin and attended Shannon College of Hotel Management.
