Yays to hold launch party for Crane Apartment

Amsterdam-based operator Yays is to launch an apartment located in a restored crane on Amsterdam’s Docklands.

The restored Figee crane 2868 was returned to the Surinamekade last week, and will have an  official launch on November 29th.

The company says: "This crane is one of the few tangible reminders of the maritime past of the Eastern Docklands. The monumental crane was dismantled in January 2016 and transported over the IJ to Friesland for a thorough restoration. The unique monument is furnished as an apartment, but retains its characteristic appearance. The Yays - Crane Apartment is ready to serve as a new icon of the Eastern Docklands."

Yays is a sponsor of SAS Europe Recharge, which is taking place in Amsterdam on January 23 and 24.

For me, the most important thing is the networking. My business is in a small city and you need to be in an environment with people that are talking about ideas, giving you a new perspective. The workshops are also like having a family where you can talk about your main issues and they will understand.
