MCR buys Albuquerque extended stay hotel

US: Hotel owner-operator MCR has acquired the 110-room Residence Inn by Marriott Albuquerque Airport.

The property is five miles from downtown Albuquerque and features 110 pet-friendly rooms with fully-equipped kitchens, free daily buffet-style breakfast, free fast Wi-Fi, convenience store, 24-hour fitness centre, indoor pool and whirlpool, BBQ area, business centre, parking and on-site laundry.

“We’re fired up to be part of the Albuquerque scene,” said Tyler Morse, CEO and managing partner of MCR and MORSE Development.

New York-based MCR is the sixth-largest hotel owner-operator in the United States with a $3 billion portfolio of 86 hotels containing 12,000 guest rooms across 26 states and 65 cities.
