Genesis Property opens Bucharest aparthotel

Local developer Genesis Property, owned by Romanian investor Liviu Tudor, has opened an aparthotel in its West Gate office complex in Western Bucharest.

The company has invested €500,000 in converting one of the buildings in the West Gate private student campus into a premium accommodation unit that mainly addresses the companies that have offices in West Gate and the families of the students in West Gate Campus. The office complex and campus host a community of more than 10,000 employees and students, according to the developer.

Studio One Accommodation Suites comprises 32 units equipped with bathroom, kitchenette, WiFi, TV and air conditioning. The clients also have free parking.

The property had a soft launch eight months ago and has reached 80 per cent occupancy.
