Piers is CEO of International Hospitality Media which focusses on growth areas within hospitality, and publishes the industry leading ServicedApartmentNews.com and BoutiqueHotelNews.com websites. Piers successfully launched the Serviced Apartment Summit inc Extended Stay Europe in 2013 to raise awareness, encourage networking, best practice and the sharing of ideas whilst addressing the challenges the sector faces to drive the industry forward. The event has since expanded to the Middle East and Americas. More recently, Piers hosts the Serviced Apartment Awards, now an annual event and widely referred to as the 'Oscars of the industry,' and the RECHARGE 'unconference' taking a different approach to doing business with wide industry support. Piers holds an MBA, ISMM and IDM Diplomas and has held senior positions in the national media and retail industries.
